  Optic neuritis with multiple sclerosis
    MS risk after 15 years: Females (75%); Males (40%)
    Other features
      Pain: On eye movement
      Color: Dyschromatopsia; Red desaturation
      Contrast sensitivity: Reduced
      Optic nerve: Normal or Edema
Variant: Retinal lesions (Graded border)
  Macular degeneration
    May produce discrete central defect separate from blind spot
